LASP

The laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics, or LASP, allowed me to interact and work with professional engineers throughout my undergraduate years while at the University of Colorado at Boulder. I worked on multidisciplinary teams including electrical, mechanical, and computer science engineers on various aerospace engineering programs.

During my time at LASP, I assumed many different roles within the company, giving me a breadth of experience including:

Mechanical Engineer

Designed Hardware for NASA's MAVEN satellite, which is currently orbiting Mars.

Polymerics Laboratory Assistant

R&D function focusing on polymeric materials to be used on various spacecrafts.

Quality Engineer

Responsibilities included the monitoring and certification (to NASA standards) of various electrostatic discharge equipment in LASP's 30+ labs.
