Alongside 5 mechanical engineering students, I led the senior design project with Intel Corporation titled "Making Handheld Devices Feel Cool to Human Touch." 

Accomplishments:

• Successfully designed a test fixture to represent a consumer smartphone for use in repeatable tests
• Determined a gel-like material to represent the thermal conductivity of human skin
• Tested and analyzed the experimental design in both steady state and transient conditions
• Integrated a phase change material to replace the common air gap design
• Designed and conducted an International Review Board approved human-based research studyDesign a test fixture to represent the consumer smartphone.
