International Prospect Acquisition at American Express
American Express segments its consumers in two ways, 1) people with an existing AMEX card, and 2) people that do not have an American Express card. My role focuses on #2, and specifically in creating the best overall application experience for such prospects.
As a Product Owner in the International Prospect Acquisition team, my core role is to create a seamless application experience for card applicants across several international markets. In partnership with Engineering, I bring new features to market that allow users to complete an American Express card application with ease. Aside from new features, I am constantly iterating and testing ideas to drive conversion via A/B Tests and Usability studies.
Given my International Product scope, I am responsible for the prospect application experience in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Netherlands, Italy, and Argentina. In this role, I partner with country-level Marketing partners to enable new product launches and marketing campaigns.
